In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert for fit, size specifications, and garment quality across all our product categories. The role calls for a blend of deep technical garment expertise alongside strong organizational and communication skills. Reporting directly to the Sourcing & Production Director, you’ll work side-by-side with our internal Product Development, Design, QC, and Purchasing & Planning teams, as well as our production partners in Portugal, to ensure every piece meets our standards before it reaches our customers.

What you'll do

Fit & Quality Ownership

• Serve as the first point of contact for size and fit within the company, overseeing all aspects from prototypes to bulk production.

• Translate fit issues clearly into actionable pattern and construction changes, working closely with pattern makers, factories, and suppliers.

• Measure and inspect pre-production and bulk samples to ensure continuous quality control across all product categories.

Cross-Functional & Production Collaboration

• Organize and run pre-bulk and final fit sessions, collection reviews, and fittings with the design department, ensuring timelines are met without compromising quality.

• Partner closely with our suppliers and production team in Portugal to solve technical issues and refine workmanship.

• Work directly with stylists and photographers to ensure garments are represented accurately in correct sample sizes during photoshoots.

• Partner with Customer Experience, Ecommerce, and Retail store teams to analyze customer return data regarding size or fit, using those insights to drive continuous product improvements.

Systems & Process Management

• Actively participate in our PLM implementation, particularly around size specs, technical data management, and accurate administrative follow-up.

What you bring

Essential

• Diploma or higher in Technical Design, Pattern Grading, or equivalent preferred.

• ~5 years of experience in technical design, pattern making, or garment fitting within menswear across multi-product categories.

• Strong technical knowledge of garment fitting, tailoring, construction, patterns, manufacturing processes, and machinery.

• Hands-on tailoring experience with a trained eye for balance, proportion, and silhouette.

• Practical proficiency with Excel, PLM software, and standard technical tools.

• Strong communication skills in English with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal creative teams, operational departments, and international factory partners.

• Detail-oriented mindset with strong organization, time management, and structured administration skills.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Portuguese.

• Prior experience in a modern D2C, scale-up, or fast-growing lifestyle apparel brand.

• Exposure to 3D garment software (such as Browzwear or Clo3D).
